Vento’s company retreat in the Langhe: teamwork, nature and connection

Somewhere completely different

Sometimes, the best way to bring a team together is to take everyone somewhere completely different.

In November 2025, Vento headed to the Langhe, one of Italy’s most beautiful wine regions, for a company retreat combining teamwork, outdoor experiences and time to reconnect.

Surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards and the colours of autumn, the team stepped away from its usual routines for two days dedicated to collaboration, relaxation and shared experiences.

The goal? Strengthen relationships, build team spirit and create memories beyond the workplace.

Bringing the team together in the Langhe

With its vineyards, countryside landscapes and charming villages, the Langhe offered a refreshing backdrop for a company retreat.

Away from the usual office environment, the team had space to connect, share ideas and spend quality time together.

The retreat combined moments of company alignment with opportunities to enjoy the surroundings and get to know colleagues beyond their everyday roles.

A chance to slow down, take in the scenery and enjoy being together.

An escape room to put teamwork to the test

One of the highlights of the retreat was an escape room experience.

A different kind of challenge where communication, creative thinking and collaboration became the keys to success.

Working together to solve puzzles and overcome challenges, colleagues had the opportunity to test their problem-solving skills, share a few laughs and discover new sides of their teammates.

A little friendly competition, plenty of teamwork and a shared goal: find the way out.

A picnic surrounded by nature

After the excitement of the escape room, the retreat took on a more relaxed rhythm.

A picnic brought the team together to enjoy good food, fresh air and the natural beauty of the Langhe.

No formal seating arrangements or meeting agendas. Just colleagues sharing a meal, chatting and taking a break from the everyday.

Set against the region’s autumn landscape, it was an opportunity to enjoy the simpler side of spending time together.

Because sometimes, the best conversations happen away from the meeting room.

How we organised it

Always Friday organised the two days in the Langhe: accommodation for around 100 people, the escape room, the picnic and the logistics for the whole group.

A dedicated event manager coordinated venue, suppliers and logistics as a single point of contact, with one invoice at the end.

Stronger connections beyond the office

A company retreat doesn’t need to be complicated to make an impact.

For Vento, two days in the Langhe created an opportunity to balance collaboration with relaxation, bringing colleagues together through challenges, shared meals and time outdoors.

From solving puzzles in an escape room to enjoying a picnic in the countryside, the experience was all about connecting in different ways.

Two days away from the office. Plenty of moments to bring back.
